Yesterday I got 30-40 mins of work done on a castle block out and then high poly some parts of it.
Castle block out is maybe 1/2 way done.
A smoothing error on the stained glass window on the front of the building but easily fixed.
Castle is not canon to any century but I like how it's turning out so far. I never really do any architecture pieces so this is a lot of fun.
After the castle I'll do a surrounding wall that will encapsulate some merchant shops, people and various props.
All this needs to be textured, normal mapped and have spec maps so I don't want to get super ambitious as I was warned by far more experienced people on some forums that I respect and look up to a lot.
Expect to see a lot more Castle and Medieval work coming from me this summer.
A few guns here and there to break up the monotony of castle work though, I got to keep it sexy and not boring.
